The Podere Giardino winery is located on the southern side of the Brunello area, nearing the road to S. Angelo Scalo. It was established in 2003, when the first vineyard was planted and the old house was renovated as the Dragoni family home, partly used for agritourism.
The vineyards are located at an altitude between 300 and 350 metres above sea level. They include about 4 hectares of Sangiovese and 7.000 square metres of Foglia Tonda, Pugnitello, Trebbiano Toscano and Colombana varieties.
The grapes are currently used to produce about 2.000 bottles of Brunello di Montalcino (including about 600 bottles of “Riserva” in the best vintages), about 3.300 bottles of Rosso di Montalcino, 1.500 bottles of IGT Toscana "Lamoni" from Foglia Tonda and Pugnitello grapes, 700 bottles of S. Antimo Bianco DOC from Trebbiano Toscano grapes.
